The Christmas Tag

Now Christmas is just around the corner (only 3 more days!!!!) I thought I would do  the Christmas tag and answer some Christmassy questions for all you lovely readers!

Lets get started!!

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

My two absolute favourite films to watch at Christmas are Elf (of course!) and Love Actually. Buddy the Elf is so innocent and well meaning and he loves Christmas so much that after watching this film it is impossible not to love Christmas yourself. I also love Love Actually as I love all the different storylines and how they intertwine! My favourite storyline is probably Sam and Joanna as I love it when he runs through the airport to find her!

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

I open my presents on Christmas morning, we open our stockings as soon as we wake up and then go downstairs and eat breakfast before opening the rest of our presents (usually with some festive Christmas music playing in the background!)

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

It’s nothing specific but I have this one memory of us sitting around the tree in the living room opening our presents and I remember there was Christmas music playing on the TV with wrapping paper LITERALLY everywhere and it was just so cosy and warm.

4. Favourite festive food?

I LOVE chocolate and nothing beats a rich chocolately Yule log with cream. Also, a good Christmas turkey with all the trimmings is pretty special!

5. Favourite Christmas gift?

Oooh this is a hard one! I’ve never really got a giant Christmas present like a phone or a bike on CHristmas, hmmm, I love reading and a couple of years ago I got a book called Let It Snow and its made of three stories which all intertwine and each story is written by a different author (including John Green) and I literally sat and read it in one go.

Oh! A few years ago my brother and I found out we were going on a family skiing holiday that February for the first time! That was pretty cool!

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

It would have to be Gingerbread! You cant beat that amazing smell!

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

My brother and I don’t belive in Father CHristmas anymore but we still set out carrots for the reindeers along with mince pies at the fireplace.

8. What tops your tree?

A ceramic(y) model of the Angel Gabriel which we end up having to tie on so it doesn’t fall off and shatter.

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

I remember asking for a TV in my room but that never happened and I still dont have one in my room to this day!

10. What’s the best part about Christmas for you?

It’s just such a happy time of year and I love seeing everyone’s faces because everyone is just so genuinely excited for Christmas and it’s such a warm cosy and happy time of year!

11. Favourite Christmas song?

I absolutely love Wham!s Last Christmas!

12. Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Not at home no but for the past few years (not this year though) we went skiing at Christmas in the Alps so obviously we had a white christmas in the mountains and I’ve honestly never felt more festive.
